The popular messaging platform WhatsApp is presenting a new update one after another to keep its fresh. The Facebook-owned company has now introduced some interesting features with its latest beta update.

 According to a report published by WABetaInfo, a new beta update has been found in the app store, after which WhatsApp will soon remove the copy, save or download option of the profile photo. This latest bit update for iOS user can be updated. Please note that this feature was first seen in the Android update. However, this is not applicable for group chats. Users can still save photos of WhatsApp Group Icon.



Many people have also said that to remove this feature on WABetaInfo's page, screenshots can still be taken to save any profile photo. Even if no profile can download the photo, but its screenshot can be easily taken.

Other updates

 Apart from this, there are other important features coming along with the update. For example, now when users receive multiple photos in chat, WhatsApp will keep them in the same link. However, the layout of the same has been improved, in which a counter has been added, showing how many items are there in the album, along with the size of the shared image.

 Audio update

 Also, with updates, WhatsApp has made changes to the audio format. So far, using OPUS format to send and receive audio, but WhatsApp will now receive audio files and receive it in M4A format. The reason for this change is that the OPUS format does not support all apps.
